SYNOPSIS
From one day to the next, 14-year-old Martha disappears. Her father Lothar, who has had no contact with either her or his ex-wife for years, sets out to find his daughter. Soon he discovers that other children and young people are also inexplicably vanishing from the city. Lothar follows their tracks across the country, but the search leads nowhere until he meets 12-year-old Lou. Together with her, he continues his journey, observing vigilante groups and an increased police presence. Slowly, Lothar realizes that the world has changed.
