Born in 1974 in Gehrden (Lower Saxony), began his own film work at the age of 14, graduated from the Gymnasium Lehrte, studied film and television production at the Film University Babelsberg "Konrad Wolf". During his studies, co-founded the production company JUNIFILM together with Anke Hartwig and Niklas Bäumer, working there as a producer and managing director.

Worked as a junior producer and producer at Studio Hamburg Produktion, as a freelance production manager and permanent employee at WDR for commissioned, co-, and in-house productions (including "Tatort", "Die Lindenstraße", "Die Sendung mit der Maus", "Die Story", and many more). Line producer at Hamburg-based Relevant Film (TV movies for ARD, ZDF, Sat.1 and TV series for ARD and KiKa, feature films). Two-year change of perspective as operations manager and managing director of a subsidiary at Verkehrsbetriebe Hamburg-Holstein, returning to film production in 2015 as head and in-house producer of the Hamburg branch of The Post Republic. From December 2016 to May 2017, worked on a freelance basis as a production manager and post-production supervisor, followed by a position as line producer at the Hamburg film production company Tamtam Film. Since August 2018, once again managing partner and producer of JUNIFILM GmbH, as well as line producer at Bremedia Produktion and Storyhouse Pictures for "Sisi", Season II from 2020 - 2025.

Born in 1970 in Hannover (Lower Saxony), began his own film work at the age of 12, graduated from the Hölty-Gymnasium Wunstorf, studied Visual Communication - specializing in Film and Television at the Kassel College of Arts. During his studies, founded the production company NILS LOOF FILM.

Worked as a cinematographer, author, and director for various film and television productions and broadcasters (including NDR, ZDF, Cineteam Hannover, TVN). Numerous film awards such as the Lola, Friedrich-Wilhelm-Murnau Short Film Award, and a nomination for the Max-Ophüls Prize. 2003 Board Member of the Film und Medienbüro Niedersachsen.

From 2009 to 2015, administration professor at the Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts in the departments of Journalism and Public Relations. Since 2016, Professor of Film Design in the Media Design department. Since August 2018, partner at JUNIFILM GmbH.
